About Jessica
Hi, I'm Jess. I graduated from the University of Manchester with a degree in Environmental Science and have gone on to build a successful career in Geography education, including serving as a Head of Geography of a large and successful department in SE London.
I am passionate about Geography because it helps students understand the world around them and equips them with valuable skills that extend far beyond the classroom. From critical thinking and data analysis to evaluating evidence and understanding global challenges, Geography develops skills that are highly valued by universities and employers alike.
As a tutor, I am approachable, patient, and committed to helping students succeed. I believe that every student can make excellent progress with the right support, clear explanations, and a positive learning environment. My lessons are tailored to each student's needs, whether they are aiming to boost their confidence, improve exam technique, achieve top grades, or gain support with coursework.
Students and parents often appreciate my organised approach, high expectations, and genuine enthusiasm for the subject. I take pride in building strong relationships with my students and helping them achieve results that open doors to future opportunities.

Experienced Head of Geography | GCSE, A-Level & NEA Specialist
I am an experienced Head of Geography with a proven track record of helping students achieve outstanding results at both GCSE and A-Level. My GCSE classes consistently achieve results that place them within the top 5% nationally, and many of my A-Level students have progressed to leading Russell Group universities, including Cambridge.
With extensive tutoring experience, I am highly familiar with all major examination boards and can tailor lessons to meet the specific requirements of each specification. I have particular expertise in Physical Geography, but I am equally confident teaching the full range of GCSE and A-Level Geography content.
I also offer specialist support with A-Level NEA coursework, including planning, research design, data analysis, write-up structure, and feedback. My experience as a Head of Department and examiner-level understanding of assessment criteria enables me to provide detailed guidance that helps students maximise their marks while maintaining academic integrity.
