About Mary Rose

Hello! I am a dedicated and patient Tagalog tutor who is passionate about helping students develop their communication skills and confidence in using the Filipino language.

I create a friendly, supportive, and comfortable learning environment where students can ask questions, practice freely, and learn at their own pace. I believe that every student has a different learning style, so I adjust my lessons and teaching techniques according to their individual needs and goals.

Whether you are a beginner learning Tagalog for the first time, a student looking to improve your Filipino skills, or someone who simply wants to communicate more naturally in Tagalog, I am here to help you achieve your learning goals.

My lessons focus on practical communication, vocabulary, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, and everyday conversations. I aim to make every lesson engaging, useful, and enjoyable while helping students become more confident Tagalog speakers.

About the lesson

I believe that effective learning starts with understanding the student’s needs, learning style, and current level. My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and student-centered. I use simple explanations, examples, guided practice, conversations, reading activities, and exercises to make lessons easier to understand and enjoyable.

For a typical lesson, I begin with a short review of the previous topic, followed by an introduction to the new lesson. I explain the topic clearly using practical examples and then allow the student to practice through activities and discussions. I also provide feedback and corrections in a supportive way. At the end of the lesson, I review the key points and give a short activity or practice exercise to reinforce learning.

What sets me apart as a tutor is my patience, dedication, and ability to adjust my teaching style according to the student’s needs. I want my students to feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes because I believe these are important parts of learning. My goal is not only to teach the subject but also to help students become more confident in using and understanding Tagalog.

My lessons are suitable for beginners, intermediate learners, students who want to improve their Tagalog communication skills, and individuals who want to develop their vocabulary, grammar, reading, writing, pronunciation, and conversational skills. I can also adjust lessons according to the student’s academic level, personal goals, and specific learning needs.
