About B T

About Me! I’ve been singing since I was 3 years old. Out of my family, I’m one of the only young people who was into music. I’ve been writing since age of 10. I went to high school and college for music, graduating in 2003 with my B.A. in Vocal Performance. I received my MBA in Music Business in 2017 and am currently studying for my second B. A. In Music Production. I have been teaching music since 2000, right before I graduated with my first B.A. I started with one little girl and since that year, I have taught a whole list of individuals, choirs, praise teams, and groups. A few I have assisted in writing music for, some landing music deals. If you’d like help reaching your musical goals, I am here!!

Nice to Meet You!!

Can’t wait to help you start on a musical journey that will allow you to grow vocally! From your first lesson you will learn the basics of proper techniques that will have you singing better than you have been in the past! You will learn at your own pace, not like the next person. When you sing, you’ll sing like your individual self, gaining your own authentic sound. And I offer lessons based on your need. If you only want one lesson, that’s awesome! If you want ten, that’s great as well. I have lesson packages that cater to your comfort zone. Can’t wait to hear from you soon!!

Perfect! Working with Barbara has been a pleasure. She welcomes in-person lessons which is what I was looking for. She makes the vocal lessons fun and she has an easy going teaching style. I’ve been working with her for a little over a month now and the lessons have been great, would highly recommend!

Perfect! She is so easy to talk to. She is patient and kind. She knows what she is doing and she tailors her program to your needs. I am euro-divergent, and she not only paced everything, she helped me along whenever I was stemming, and yet didn’t make me feel like it was my fault or like I was taking too much time. I got a bit emotional because of my reason for trying to sing again, and we actually shared the moment. Love love love love this vocal coaches methods and her air. I cannot wait for my second lesson.
