About Samantha

Hi! I’m Samantha, a dedicated tutor who loves helping students feel confident and excited about learning. I’ve worked with kids of all ages, and I specialize in making tricky subjects feel more approachable and fun. I’m especially passionate about science and reading, and I love finding creative ways to bring lessons to life. What sets me apart is my background in informal education—I’ve developed and led science programs in museums, camps, and outreach events, and I’m certified to teach NASA’s Mission: The Universe curriculum. I blend academic support with creativity, real-world connections, and a nurturing learning environment.

My lessons are designed for students in kindergarten through high school, whether they need help catching up, staying on track, or getting ahead. I support learners across a variety of subjects including reading, writing, math foundations, and science, with a special focus on building confidence along the way.

I can’t say enough good things about Samantha. She tutors some of the other kids in my neighborhood. And she’s been working with my son for a little while now, and the difference we’ve seen is amazing. He used to get so frustrated with reading and just didn’t enjoy school the way he used to. But he actually looks forward to his time with her.
