About Uche
My name is Uche, I have been a teacher for 10 years and counting. I have taught across grades too. I have taught science subjects at junior secondary level, no geography to senior secondary pupils. As an elementary teacher, I have taught the whole curriculum for key stages 1 and 2. I have also been a teens facilitator for years. I love teaching because it is a fascinating one where you can easily measure how much improvement a learner has made. This is one of the high points for me as a teacher. Another is the very interesting things I get to learn about my pupils, learning from them, their perspectives; which has changed my life as a teacher.
Sharing experiences with my learners is another reason I enjoy teaching. The beauty of sharing, learning and growing together are what makes teaching interesting for me.

I approach teaching pupils from a personal point of view, I am of the school of thought of the constructivism, where the child is at the core of his/her learning. I as the teacher guides learners to construct knowledge by themselves, by providing all that us required to make them construct knowledge seamlessly, especially based on their current contexts. I also make sure to inculcate cosmopolitan learning, making my learners see how they impact the global community from theirseemingly local spot. I also include the use of technology to drive learning, thereby ensuring that learners are always fascinated and excited about their learning.
