About Sumitra Madhavi
Hello! My name is Sakshi, and I am a dedicated and values-based tutor currently working with the Calgary Board of Education. I have a deep passion for supporting young learners both academically and personally. I offer tutoring in Math, English, and general homework support for students from Grades 1 to 6, with a calm, patient, and personalized approach. With over 12 years of experience in living a conscious and disciplined lifestyle, I bring consistency, care, and positive energy into my teaching. Alongside academic support, I also offer Hindi language classes and engaging storytelling sessions based on the Bhagavad Gita, Ramayana, and other Vedic scriptures, helping children connect with Indian culture, values, and spiritual wisdom in a meaningful way. My goal is not only to help children succeed in their studies but also to build confidence, strong learning habits, and a love for knowledge rooted in both academic and cultural foundations.
