About Emily
With many years as a drawing and painting student under my belt, I set my sights on becoming a drawing instructor at the University of Calgary MiniU Camps two summers ago. I am experienced in teaching advertisement techniques and technical drawing skills in a variety of mediums (chalk pastel, oil pastel, charcoal, etc.). Drawing is therapeutic and it brings people together!

My main goal with my students is to combine their art with self-appreciation and positivity. By the end of my classes you will leave feeling more confident and grounded not only in your art practice but in your capabilities moving forward.

I have sold original and commission paintings over the last few years, and I have been instructed by respected artists since early childhood. My love of art allowed me to become a welcoming instructor for artists of all ages. The only difference between you and an artist you admire is taking that first step!
