About the lesson

My Tutoring Approach and Teaching Methodology. I believe that every student learns differently. My goal is to build academic confidence through structured, highly interactive, and low-pressure lessons. Diagnostic Assessment: I start the first session by identifying the student's strengths and core learning gaps. Scaffolded Learning: I break complex topics down into small, digestible steps. We move from theory to guided practice, and finally to independent problem-solving. Active Engagement: I use real-world examples to make senior Economics relatable, and interactive reading or writing prompts to keep primary students fully engaged. Exam and Curriculum Alignment: For secondary students, my teaching strictly focuses on NCEA or Cambridge assessment schedules, marking rubrics, and past exam papers to maximize grades.
