About Takeshi

Born and raised in Japan, I’ve been immersed in an international learning environment from a young age. I started learning English at just two years old and attended international schools until age 14, before continuing my education in Canada. I completed four years of high school at Niagara Christian Collegiate, followed by four years at the University of Toronto’s Rotman Commerce program, specializing in accounting, graduating in June 2025. I have a deep passion for accounting, particularly being on the side where I can analyze a company’s financial information to drive better decision-making and improvements. Beyond numbers, I enjoy playing and coaching tennis, experimenting with ingredients to create gourmet dishes, and composing music—mainly EDM rhythms and orchestral pieces—drawing from my years playing the Electone, an instrument much like an electric organ.

About the lesson

I design my lessons to be engaging, structured, and personalized to each student’s learning style. Every session begins with a review of previous concepts to reinforce understanding, followed by a clear explanation of new material with real-world applications. I incorporate interactive exercises, problem-solving strategies, and practical examples to deepen comprehension. Students are encouraged to ask questions, think critically, and apply knowledge through guided practice and independent exercises.
I provide detailed feedback and tailor lessons based on individual progress, ensuring steady improvement and confidence in the subject. My goal is to create a supportive and motivating learning environment where students not only master the material but also develop strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
