About Downmore
I am an experienced and versatile educator with over 15 years of international teaching expertise across secondary and higher education in Zimbabwe and the UK. My specialisms include Physics, General Science, Mathematics and Renewable Energy Engineering, and I have a proven track record of delivering high-impact, student-centred instruction in diverse learning environments. From high school to postgraduate levels, I foster inclusive, research-oriented classrooms that promote academic excellence and personal growth. My recent work as a UK-based cover teacher demonstrates my adaptability and ability to maintain student engagement across varied subjects and school contexts. I am known for mentoring with empathy and creating supportive learning spaces where students feel seen and empowered. I use interactive, student-led methods tailored to individual needs and learning styles. My lessons last 60 minutes. I have over 15 years’ experience in tutoring and lecturing Physics, General Science, and Mathematics. I hold a teaching qualification and help learners aged 10–18 across all levels, focusing on confidence and academic growth.
