I have been taking lessons from Tobias for more than a year now and he has helped take my playing as well as my understanding of music theory to the next level. He is extremely capable of guiding one through an an advanced classical piece as he is teaching advanced music theory, how to shred, or really any aspect of guitar playing. He can even help you set your guitar up! I also like that he is very flexible with his schedule and is just an all around nice guy.

It goes without saying that Tobias is a top flight player, but what makes him great is his kind and patience manner with student. Beginners to experts, he knows how to get the best out of students without stress.

My son has been taking lessons with Tobias for a couple of years now. Tobias is a fabulous teacher who really knows his stuff. He explains things very clearly and thoroughly and makes sure the student understands before moving on to the next topic. Shows great range in musical styles, is attentive to what the student wants to get out of playing the guitar, has great technique and musicality himself which will inspire any student. Helps students achieve their goals but is also careful to stress important matters that they might be more apt to avoid (sight reading, writing charts). Positive demeanor always. A cool studio space as well. He's really helped my son grow musically as a guitarist and musician.

Tobias is an excellent teacher! He has worked with my son for almost 8 years and my son’s growth has been incredible — not just musically but also with his overall self-confidence. He’s able to flex lesson plans to what students want to learn as well as to take a break from anything that is getting frustrating so that students can continue to learn and not feel like giving up. He’s also an accomplished musician himself and performs locally on a regular basis in a number of bands and leads an awesome summer camp program where students make original songs. I highly recommend him!

Overall just really really great and has a wealth of knowledge on anything and everything guitar. He goes above and beyond what a typical teacher does, and can and will teach you exactly what you want to learn. I’ve been working with him for a long time and cannot imagine a better teacher.
