About Jenn
I’m an experienced ASL educator with a professional background in both American Sign Language and Deaf education. I have taught ASL 1, ASL 2, and ASL 3, working with students from their first ASL class through increasingly advanced language skills.
My teaching focuses on helping students understand ASL as a complete visual language, including grammar, facial expressions, classifiers, receptive and expressive skills, fingerspelling, and natural conversation. I also understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my teaching to the individual rather than expecting everyone to learn the same way.
I’m patient, encouraging, and love helping students reach that moment when something finally clicks. Whether you’re struggling with an ASL course, preparing for an assessment, or simply want to become a stronger and more confident signer, I’ll meet you where you are and help you move forward.

My ASL lessons are personalized to meet you where you are, whether you’re taking ASL in high school or college, building conversational fluency, strengthening receptive and expressive skills, practicing fingerspelling, or working on grammar and classifiers.
Lessons are tailored to your goals and learning style. We can tackle challenging concepts, practice real conversations, prepare for assignments or assessments, or simply build your confidence as a signer.
I create a relaxed, supportive environment where mistakes are part of learning. ASL is a visual language, so lessons are interactive and hands-on, not an hour of me lecturing at you. We’ll actually sign!
All levels are welcome, from beginners to more advanced students.
