About Gaby
I have experience in teaching Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 and KS4 level within the UK. I have recently qualified and so have extremely up to date and regulated teaching methods, I am also very enthusiastic and energetic. I have just been working in one of the best schools in Kuwait, so also have experience in Biology IGCSE Cambridge syllabus. I am extremely professional and have experience of tutoring, with immediate impact and improved grades.

My teaching methods are to promote enjoyment, initiative and independence from learning. I promote discovery with learning and believe it is vital that pupils become self-supportive learners. This promotes confidence and can be applied to every aspect in life, not just the subject being taught. I have discovered that once given choice with challenge and input from the tutor/teacher, the outcome is of a much higher quality and retainment is also higher than when this is lacking. Learning is not just for the classroom, but should enable pupils, as people to be self-sufficient and grow as individuals. I use PowerPoints, videos, textbooks, questioning, exam papers, animations all to promote learning in different ways, to allow access for all ranges of abilities. Once content has been covered, there is always room for assessment, in multiple formats.
