I have been teaching science for 10 years at elite private schools in the Philadelphia area. My AP Biology students have a 100% pass rate with a 3 or higher on the AP exam, with more than 50% of students each year earning a 5 and more than 75% of students earning a 4 or higher.

My lessons are tailored to my students, pulling on my decade of experience in education. I prioritize student centered learning, where students build on their strengths and knowledge for the long term.
As much as possible, I promote hands-on learning techniques and guided discovery. Students find their own answers, which helps to maintain memory and organization of content.
I have experience with students of all ages and levels, from middle school to undergrad, remedial to AP, and topic specific content. I teach classes in Biology, AP Biology, Anatomy and Physiology, Genetics, Cancer Research, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, and Marine Biology.
