About Rana
Hi, I’m Rana, a Biomedical Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University, and I’ve been exactly where you are. I know the frustration of staring at a textbook that feels like a different language. I’ve spent my degree teaching myself these concepts from scratch by breaking them down into plain English until they finally clicked. Because I’ve figured out how to tackle problems and understand them from the very bottom, I can help you do the same while saving you the hours of time I had to spend figuring it out on my own. What sets me apart is that I’m not here to just read you a PowerPoint, I’m here to share all the golden tips and tricks I had to learn the hard way.

I’m a Biomedical Science student at Toronto Metropolitan University (TMU), and I know exactly where students often struggle in a science degree. I don't just focus on teaching the material; I also teach how to study smarter.

I’ve been where you are, and I’ve figured out the most effective study strategies for high-stakes exams. I want to share the tips, tricks, and lab report strategies that helped me improve my approach, so you can avoid the mistakes I made. Whether it’s tackling Calculus or breaking down Organic Chemistry, I’m here to help you gain the confidence to succeed.
I focus on helping you understand the "why" behind concepts rather than just memorizing formulas. Using Active Recall and First-Principles Thinking, I simplify complex topics into clear, logical steps that are easy to grasp and remember.
Lesson Plan (60 Minutes):
Review (10 mins): Address any confusing points from recent work.
Deep Dive (25 mins): Explore the core concept using a digital whiteboard to explain the logic or mechanism behind it.
Guided Practice (15 mins): Solve high-level, exam-style questions together, pointing out common traps.
