About Rhoda

I am an enthusiastic British Curriculum teacher with over 8 years of experience helping children aged 3–8 learn, grow, and shine.

My lessons are fun, interactive, and designed for the 21st-century learner. Through educational games, storytelling, songs, hands-on activities, creative challenges, and real-life problem-solving, I make learning exciting, meaningful, and easy to understand.

I teach English, phonics, reading, grammar, Mathematics, and Science across EYFS and Key Stage 1. My teaching approach develops essential 21st-century skills, including critical thinking, creativity, communication, collaboration, and problem-solving, while building children's confidence, curiosity, and independence.

Every child learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to suit each learner's age, interests, abilities, and pace. Whether your child needs support with schoolwork, stronger foundational skills, or an exciting way to discover new concepts, I create a positive and supportive learning environment where every child feels encouraged to participate and succeed.

My lessons are fun, engaging, interactive, and tailored to each child’s learning needs. I use practical activities, storytelling, phonics games, visual aids, questioning, and real-life examples to make learning enjoyable and easy to understand. I encourage children to participate actively, build confidence, and develop a genuine love for learning.

Each lesson typically lasts 45–60 minutes, depending on the child’s age, attention span, and learning goals. With over 8 years of teaching experience, I have worked with children across the British Curriculum, particularly EYFS and Key Stage 1, with experience supporting Key Stage 2 learners as well.

I teach children aged 3–8 in English, phonics, reading, grammar, Mathematics, and Science. Whether your child needs help mastering the basics, improving academic performance, preparing for school assessments, or building confidence, I provide patient, supportive, and personalised lessons that help every learner make progress at their own pace.
