About Mia

As a UK-qualified Science teacher with experience teaching across both the UK and UAE, I am committed to delivering high-quality, structured, and engaging lessons that help every student succeed. I have taught a wide range of learners from KG to IGCSE, including EAL students, high achievers, and those who need extra reassurance or step-by-step guidance. About the lesson

I teach using a clear, structured and supportive approach designed to build confidence and genuine understanding. I break topics down into simple, manageable steps, use real-life examples to help students connect with the content, and check understanding regularly through short practice tasks. My lessons follow a “teach → practise → apply” structure, ensuring students can immediately use what they have learned.

A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, but I also offer 90-minute sessions for exam preparation or students who need extra support. Each class begins with a short recap, followed by guided teaching, application questions, and a short review to consolidate learning. I provide personalised resources, exam-style questions and clear explanations that suit each student’s ability and learning style.

I am a UK-qualified Science teacher (Biology Specialism) with experience teaching in both the UK and UAE across KG to IGCSE levels. I have supported students of all abilities, including EAL learners, high-achieving students and those who need a more gentle, confidence-building approach. I also teach Maths and English from KG to Year 8, including phonics, early numeracy, comprehension and foundational skills.

My lessons are ideal for KG–KS3 students who need structured support, IGCSE learners preparing for exams, and families looking for an experienced, patient and engaging tutor who can make learning clear, enjoyable and effective.
