About Angie Nompumelelo

Hi, I'm Angie! I hold a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Hons in Medical oncology degree and currently work as a Project Manager in Clinical Research. Throughout my career, I have gained experience in project management, research coordination, administration, and working with multidisciplinary healthcare teams. These experiences have strengthened my communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills, which I bring into every lesson.

I believe every student can succeed with the right support. My lessons are patient, interactive, and tailored to each student's learning style, with the goal of building confidence, improving understanding, and achieving excellent results.

About the lesson

I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the individual's learning style, pace, and goals. My teaching approach is patient, supportive, and interactive, with a focus on building confidence while ensuring students fully understand each concept before moving on.

I am proficient in English and can also provide support in isiZulu, Sepedi and Xhosa where needed to help students better understand difficult concepts.

A typical lesson begins with reviewing previous work, identifying any areas of difficulty, and then working through new concepts using clear explanations, practical examples, and guided practice. I encourage students to ask questions throughout the lesson and provide additional exercises and tips to reinforce their understanding.

My lessons are suitable for primary school, high school, and first-year university students, depending on the subject. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving your grades, or simply looking to build confidence in a subject, I aim to create a positive and encouraging learning environment where you feel comfortable learning and making mistakes.

As a Project Manager with a science background, I understand the importance of organisation, critical thinking, and effective communication. I bring these skills into every lesson to help students develop not only subject knowledge but also strong study habits and problem-solving skills.
