About Nicole
I am passionate about teaching and believe that learning should be an engaging and personalized experience. Outside of tutoring, I am an avid traveler, which has not only broadened my horizons but also deepened my understanding of different cultures and perspectives. This love for travel enriches my teaching, allowing me to bring diverse experiences and a global perspective into the classroom. Having worked with students from various nationalities during my time in holiday resorts, I’ve learned the importance of adaptability and patience when teaching. My background in international marketing and my travel experiences give me a unique ability to connect with students of different backgrounds and tailor my lessons to be both relevant and interesting. I use a variety of techniques to suit different learning styles, such as:
Interactive Learning: Encouraging students to actively participate in the lesson through discussions, problem-solving exercises, and practical applications.
Visual Aids: Using diagrams, charts, and multimedia resources to illustrate key points, which helps to reinforce learning, especially for visual learners.
Real-world Examples: I incorporate relevant examples from my background in international marketing to demonstrate the practical applications of the concepts being taught.
Adaptability: I assess each student’s learning pace and adjust my teaching accordingly. If something is not clear, I take the time to explain it in multiple ways until the student fully grasps the idea.
Typical Length of a Lesson:

Qualifications/Experience as a Tutor:
I hold a degree in International Marketing, which has provided me with a solid foundation in business concepts and communication. Additionally, I have extensive experience working with children from diverse nationalities in holiday resorts, where I taught a wide range of subjects and helped students with language barriers. This experience has equipped me with the skills to adapt my teaching style to suit students from various cultural backgrounds and learning levels.
