About Alex

I'm a very experienced and friendly tutor, with a wealth of experience in academia. I am currently researching Parkinson's Disease as part of my PhD at the University of Cambridge and I hold a first-class degree in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Oxford. I aim to make my lessons tailored to each individual student to help them learn best and show them how they can achieve the highest grades at GCSE, A Level and university as I did.

About the lesson

My lessons target the students' individual weaknesses, that I identify in the first lesson and build a tailored programme for them to help them achieve the highest grades. I also have a huge bank of notes to provide students with alongside my lessons, which are typically an hour. All my previous students have got into their target grades to get into their dream universities with my help. Please get in touch if you have any further questions.

Alex's university notes got me through finals and I would recommend him as a tutor not only for his credibility (top 4 in his year at the University of Oxford) but his tried and tested study skills, which will help you to achieve the top grades. He is friendly and reliable, has lots of tutoring experience, and as a recent graduate he is no stranger to exam preparation. He will not only help you understand science topics, but help you to organise your time and learn how to study most effectively. He has also recently taken the BMAT and UCAT entrance exams and so is very well qualified to tutor for these additionally.
