About Avyukt
I am a Candidate Master and National Master, awarded by FIDE, with a peak FIDE rating of 2200+ and peak Lichess rating of 2600+.
I have represented England over a dozen times playing in over a dozen countries from Bahrain to Azerbaijan, in tournaments including the Glorney Cup International and the U16 Chess Olympiad.
I became the youngest ever captain at the World Rapid Team Championships in 2025, creating and managing the London Legends team who captured the media's attention by nearly defeating the Hungarian national team.
Nationally, I am a former West of England Champion and was invited to compete in the British Championship in 2025 and EJCOA National Finals 2026.
I hold 5+ years of coaching experience, initially coaching children, but am now a senior coach in my chess club working with all levels of chess players from young beginners to advanced professionals.

We will spend the first 2-3 lessons understanding your weaknesses and strengths, and how I can help you achieve your goals.
From then onwards, I aim to help you improve each of these areas, while simultaneously working on your calculation through tactics and puzzles.
After this stage, we will then focus on improving all aspects of your chess, including your positional and strategic play.
I will also work with you to develop a personalised practice plan, to ensure a steady improvement rate.
