About Mrinal
Namaste! I'm Mrinal Subash, a dedicated vocal trainer from Chennai with over 15 years of immersive Carnatic music training under renowned gurus like Smt.Jyothi Lakshmi and Smt.Meenakshi. My journey began as a young learner captivated by the soul-stirring depth of Carnatic vocals, and today, I blend that classical foundation with my skills as a guitarist, singer, and songwriter.
I've performed at local sabhas and composed original fusion tracks, helping me understand what truly elevates a singer's voice. This experience lets me guide students not just in vocals, but in pivoting to guitar for better rhythm, harmony, and vocal intuition—perfect for modern musicians.

With 15 years of rigorous Carnatic vocal training under esteemed gurus, I deliver personalized online lessons for beginners and intermediate learners passionate about classical vocals. My approach blends traditional Carnatic techniques—like swara sadhana, varisais, and raga exploration—with modern tools for clear pitch control and expressive singing.
Each 1-hour class (₹500) starts with warm-ups and breathing exercises, moves into targeted vocal drills or song practice, and ends with feedback plus homework via recordings. As a guitarist, singer-songwriter, and performer, I uniquely help students pivot to guitar for deeper vocal comprehension—unlocking rhythm, melody, and fusion styles effortlessly.
