About Rhea
I hold a Master’s Degree in Chemistry and have ten years of experience teaching students at all levels. My fascination with chemistry comes from its ability to explain natural phenomena and provide tools for problem-solving. Teaching allows me to share this passion while equipping learners with conceptual understanding and practical skills. I emphasise clarity, patience, and personalised guidance. Each lesson is tailored to the student’s learning style and pace, ensuring comprehension and fostering confidence. I encourage inquiry, experimentation, and critical thinking to promote independent learning. Outside the classroom, I stay engaged in research, emerging scientific developments, and innovative teaching methods. Chemistry is the science of matter, its composition, properties, and transformations. I emphasise understanding chemical principles rather than memorisation, fostering problem-solving skills and scientific curiosity. Students begin with atomic structure, periodic trends, bonding, and chemical equations. Intermediate learners explore reaction mechanisms, thermodynamics, acids and bases, and stoichiometry. Advanced learners work on organic synthesis, chemical kinetics, and laboratory techniques. Hands-on experiments, problem-solving exercises, and real-life applications reinforce learning and comprehension. Chemistry cultivates analytical thinking, precision, and intellectual independence. Students develop the ability to plan experiments, interpret data critically, and apply chemical principles to novel problems.
