About Shaheer

I have worked as a Deputy Head of Science, with responsibility for curriculum development, schemes of work, assessment and student progress. This gives me a detailed understanding of what students need to know, how topics connect across a course and how to prepare effectively for examinations.

I teach students across the ability range. For students who are struggling, I break complex Chemistry into manageable steps and build their confidence through carefully structured practice. For high-achieving students, I provide stretch and challenge, focusing on applying knowledge to unfamiliar problems and developing the depth of understanding needed for the highest grades.

I also have extensive experience supporting students with SEND, ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety and gaps in education, adapting lessons and resources to make Chemistry accessible without lowering expectations.

About the lesson

I am a qualified teacher with over 8 years’ experience in education, offering personalised Chemistry tuition for students of all abilities. Whether your child needs help building the fundamentals, catching up on missed learning, preparing for exams or pushing towards the highest grades, I tailor every lesson to their individual needs.

What I Can Help With:
GCSE Chemistry and Combined Science
A-Level Chemistry support
Foundation and Higher Tier GCSE
Exam preparation and exam technique
Required practicals and scientific skills
Closing gaps in knowledge
Grade 7–9 stretch and challenge
Homework and coursework support
Revision planning and retrieval practice
Students who have lost confidence in Chemistry

Online & In-Person Tuition

Lessons can be delivered online or in person. Online sessions are highly interactive, using digital resources, modelling, questioning, worked examples, retrieval activities and exam-style questions. In-person lessons allow for additional practical, visual and hands-on approaches.

My aim is simple: to help students enjoy and understand Chemistry, develop confidence and make measurable progress towards their individual goals.

Whether you are working towards a pass or aiming for Grade 9, I can provide structured, personalised support to help you reach your potential.

This is not only a teacher, a guider, a firm believer in the capabilities of his students. He is also a certified Legend. That is a phrase that I do not use quite often but I must. Sir made all of my lessons fun especially my practical exams. He is outgoing and easy to talk to. Thats why he is a Legend.
