A Lifelong Musical Journey Shared With You:
As a lifelong appreciator, performer, and composer of acoustic folk song, I am excited to return to my roots in classical guitar and share my deep love for music with beginners looking to explore this beautiful instrument.
For the past four years, I have run a weekly, open-ability, in-person music group. Through this, I have used song as a vehicle to help people meet, build community, and engage in meaningful musical discussions.
I bring this exact same collaborative, welcoming, and community-minded energy to my online guitar studio.
A Unique Background in Art, Science, and Mindset:
My background blends creativity, science, and human behavior. I am a qualified winemaker, and studied minors in both Classical Guitar and Psychology at the University of Western Australia (UWA).
How does this unique combination help you as a student?The Classical Foundation: My formal training at UWA ensures you will learn correct posture, fingerstyle technique, and foundational reading skills right from the start.The Psychology Insight: Learning an instrument as an adult requires patience and the right mindset. The Creative Passion: My years of folk composing mean I focus on making music expressive and deeply enjoyable, not just a series of dry exercises.

Hello! I am a professional guitarist and dedicated educator and Music Facilitator. I specialize in working with adult students—from absolute beginners picking up the instrument for the first time, to intermediate players looking to refine their tone, posture, and interpretation.
Learning the classical guitar as an adult is a uniquely rewarding journey.
