About Isam
I am a finance and operations professional based in London, holding an MBA with Merit and currently pursuing a PhD pathway in Economics. A former student athlete and qualified Jiu Jitsu coach, I bring discipline, structure, and genuine passion to everything I do, whether in the boardroom, on the mat or in the classroom.
My background spans financial analysis, academic research, and hands-on coaching, giving me a rare ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and accessibly.
I volunteer with Alzheimer's Research UK and Oxfam, and I am committed to making a positive impact both professionally and in my community.
I believe every adult learner has untapped potential.
My role as a tutor is simply to help you unlock it with patience, rigour and real-world perspective.

My sessions are typically one hour long, conducted online, which means flexible scheduling that fits around your life.
I focus on real-world application, professional writing, articulating ideas clearly and constructing strong arguments. Ideal for adults looking to improve in the workplace or in academic settings.
As a former student athlete and qualified Jiu Jitsu coach, I bring structured, goal-oriented coaching to fitness sessions. I understand what it takes to balance performance with discipline; we work on technique, mindset and building sustainable habits, not just short-term results.
Working adults, professionals and anyone looking to invest in themselves, including those preparing for postgraduate or PhD-level study.
No prior experience needed in any subject, just a willingness to show up and engage.
With an MBA, ongoing PhD pathway preparation in Economics, and a background spanning finance, competitive sport and coaching, I bring both academic rigour and real-world perspective to every session.
