As your tutor in Computer Science, I will help you to maximise your GCSE or A Level grade.
We will be focused on the exam papers that you will sit, ensuring that you have an understanding of the topics, and how to use the pertinent information to answer the questions.
Our sessions will ensure that you can understand the different types of topics, eg essay type information (e.g. types of computer architecture), mathematical type information (e.g vectors, nodes, number systems, logic), programming languages (best practises, pseudo code, assembler, high level languages), techniques (iterations, decision), networking (switches, routers, and the TCP/IP protocol), and last but not least - logical thinking.
I am experienced in writing code (assembler, Fortran, JAVA, SQL, file handling, logging), designing systems (client/server, 3 Tier Architecture), designing networks (switches, routers, firewalls).
I am a member of the British Computer Society (B.C.S), a Chartered IT Professional, and hold a B.Engineering in Electronic Engineering.
I was selected to deliver training in Computer Science to school teachers as part of the Barefoot initiative.
