About Angela
I have over 30 years combined experience as a Criminal Barrister and Tutor. I love being able to bring Criminal law to life by using real cases from my days as a Prosecutor and enjoy making the topic easy to understand.
I am Dyslexic and only recently had formal assessment for this. I like to let my students know this as I am proof that a disability need never hold you back. I believe it encourages those with similar learning issues to gain confidence that they do have the ability to shine.
I use a variety of learning styles , so on some topics may be Socratic other Didactic until a student can demonstrated they have assimilated the information in a way that works for them.
Last,y I love to bring humour to my classes. I encourage playful interaction as I believe we learn more when having fun. Students have told me in the past that they find themselves recalling cases because I link them to songs....a very handy tool.
