About Oghenefejiro
As a Computer Science undergraduate at the University of Greenwich and a passionate tutor with three years of experience, I aim to inspire and support students in Maths and Science. My own journey through Higher Level Mathematics and Physics in the International Baccalaureate at Dartford Grammar School fueled my appreciation for problem-solving and logical thinking. Teaching gives me the chance to share this passion, helping students not only improve their grades but also discover the excitement and potential in these subjects.
I understand that each student has their own pace and unique strengths, so my goal is to make learning enjoyable and accessible, using relatable examples and interactive techniques. I believe in building students' confidence by providing clear, step-by-step explanations and fostering an environment where questions are encouraged.
My lessons are structured to provide students with a solid foundation and practical skills they can carry forward. For me, tutoring is a chance to empower young learners, and I’m dedicated to guiding each student to reach their full potential.

My Approach to Tutoring
With three years of tutoring experience, I specialize in helping students from Year 3 to Year 11 gain a solid understanding of Maths and Science. My teaching approach is highly personalized, focusing on each student’s strengths and areas for improvement. I aim to make learning interactive and engaging, using clear explanations, practical examples, and visual aids to simplify complex concepts.
Teaching Techniques and Methodology
My lessons are structured to build confidence and mastery in the subject, starting with a review of key concepts before moving on to practice questions and problem-solving techniques. I incorporate varied teaching tools like diagrams, hands-on exercises, and real-world applications to ensure students understand and enjoy the material.
Lesson Structure
A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, allowing enough time for thorough concept review, guided practice, and independent problem-solving. I incorporate shorter activities for younger students to keep them engaged, while older students benefit from focused, in-depth work on challenging topics.
