About Kasturi

I am a Data Science student with a strong Mathematics and Statistics background. I have been given private lessons since two years to school students. Math is my passion and I love to impart my knowledge to others as it allows me to expand my horizons in the field of teaching.

About the lesson

My teaching method is completely based on the students' needs. I tailor the lessons according to what the student would benefit from along with their school studies. My main objective is to strengthen the basic concepts of the students and giving them the confidence to approach the subject with sincerity and determination.

Perfect! She explains maths methods formulas incredibly well and I have begun to finally understand content in our 2 hours sessions (per week) than I ever did in 7 hours of class every week. She’s incredibly qualified and I’d absolutely recommend anyone to go to her, she’s a great tutor!

Kasturi has been my tutor for maths for almost two years now. She is very understanding and patient and will go over any questions you are unsure of. She always allows me to message her at any time whenever I’m stuck on a math question and she usually gets back to me straight away. She goes above and beyond to help me understand the topics and always takes her time to help me prepare for SACs and exams. Though online learning is hard to do, especially for maths, Kasturi has made an easy and comfortable learning environment through zoom for me. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a teacher.

Just two days into tutoring, I had a test at my school for which she helped me prepare for it and my grades came out better than usual.
