About Sa

I am a dedicated and professional Mathematics tutor with several years of teaching experience, supported by a strong academic and technical background. I hold an Engineering degree, which has given me a deep understanding of mathematical concepts, logical thinking, and structured problem-solving. Over the years, I have worked with students of different ages and ability levels, helping them build confidence, improve results, and develop a genuine understanding of mathematics. My experience also includes teaching accountancy-related mathematics, where accuracy, clarity, and step-by-step reasoning are essential. This broad teaching background allows me to adapt my methods to suit each learner’s needs and learning style. In addition to tutoring, I have professional industry experience working in DevOps and Artificial Intelligence. This real-world exposure enables me to show students how mathematics is applied beyond the classroom, making lessons more engaging, relevant, and practical. I take my role as a tutor seriously and always maintain a professional, patient, and supportive approach. My goal is not only to help students succeed academically, but also to build their confidence and independent thinking skills. About the lesson

My approach to tutoring is student-centred, structured, and focused on building strong understanding and confidence in mathematics. I start by identifying the student’s current level, strengths, and areas that need improvement. Lessons are explained step-by-step, using simple language, real-life examples, and problem-solving techniques to make concepts clear and relatable. I place strong emphasis on logic, accuracy, and exam-focused practice, while encouraging students to ask questions freely. I use a mix of guided examples, practice questions, and interactive discussion during lessons. For exam-level students, I include past paper questions and exam techniques aligned with the UK curriculum (GCSE and A-Level). Homework and revision strategies are provided when needed to reinforce learning outside lessons. Each lesson is 1 hour long and conducted online, making it flexible and convenient. Sessions are well-structured but adapted to the student’s pace and learning style.
