About ZAMEKA
Hello and welcome!
My name is Zameka, and I am an experienced Digital Instructor with a passion for helping people develop practical computer skills and gain confidence using technology. Since May 2023, I have been teaching computer literacy and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access, as well as basic database skills. I also have experience supporting learners with ICDL preparation.
As a teacher, I believe that everyone can learn with the right guidance, patience and practice. My lessons are practical, interactive and adapted to each student's learning pace and individual needs. I explain concepts step by step, demonstrate tasks clearly, and provide opportunities for students to practise what they have learned.
I teach in English and can explain challenging concepts in isiXhosa when necessary, helping students feel comfortable asking questions and understanding new topics.
Whether you are a complete beginner, a student, a job seeker or a professional looking to improve your computer skills, I am here to support your learning journey. My goal is to help you become more confident, independent and capable of applying your skills in real-life situations.

Learn Computer Skills with a Patient, Supportive and Experienced Digital Instructor!
My name is Zameka, and I have been working as a Digital Instructor since May 2023. I specialise in teaching computer literacy, Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Access and database basics, as well as helping learners prepare for ICDL assessments.
My teaching approach
My teaching style is practical, patient and learner-centred. I believe the best way to learn computer skills is by practising them step by step. I explain concepts in simple language, demonstrate each task, and give learners time to practise independently. I adapt my lessons to each student's learning pace and encourage questions so that everyone feels comfortable learning, even if they have little or no computer experience.
Languages
I can teach in English and explain difficult concepts in isiXhosa when needed, helping learners understand lessons more clearly and confidently.
What to expect from my lessons
Each lesson includes a clear explanation of the topic, practical demonstrations, guided exercises and independent practice. I provide helpful feedback, identify areas that need improvement, and help students build their confidence through regular practice. Lessons can focus on specific computer skills, school or workplace requirements, or preparation for ICDL assessments.
Who are my lessons for?
My lessons are suitable for beginners, school leavers, adults returning to learning, job seekers, and anyone who wants to improve their computer skills for work, study or everyday life. I also support learners who want to strengthen their Microsoft Office skills or develop a foundation in databases.
My goal is to make learning computers simple, enjoyable and useful, so that every student can develop practical skills they can apply with confidence in real-life situations.
