About Kelly
I’m Kelly, a disability support worker and youth work graduate based in Adelaide. I bring over 8 years of experience across accommodation support, community work, leadership roles, and ABN self-employment. I’ve supported people with all types of disabilities and severities, including complex needs, behaviors of concern, and high-support environments.
Across my career, I’ve worked as a team leader, permanent accommodation worker, casual community support worker, and independent ABN support provider. I’ve also completed a one-month volunteer placement in a Bali orphanage, supporting children with diverse needs and learning styles.
I’m known for my warm, calm, and patient approach. I explain things clearly, step-by-step, and create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable, understood, and confident. My teaching style is strengths-based, trauma-informed, and flexible to different learning needs — including autism, ADD, Asperger's
I love helping students understand disability support concepts, build practical skills, and feel ready for real-world work in the sector.
