About Zyla
My teaching approach is centred on the student, focusing on understanding Economics in a practical and meaningful way. I prioritise cultural sensitivity in my lessons, ensuring that examples, case studies, and discussions are relatable and respectful to students from diverse backgrounds. This approach helps students feel comfortable sharing their ideas and encourages learning in an inclusive environment. I aim to make complex concepts simple and easy to understand, so students can apply them confidently in real-life situations.
Problem-solving is a key part of my methodology. I use real-world scenarios, interactive exercises, and critical thinking challenges to help students see how economic theories work in practice. I am an experienced Economics tutor with over 9 years of teaching college students. I specialise in Micro and Macro Economics and focus on making complex concepts easy to understand. My goal is to help students not just memorise theories, but really grasp how economics works in real life. I guide students step by step, breaking down difficult topics into simple, manageable parts.
My teaching style is interactive and engaging. I use real-world examples, case studies, and discussions to connect theory with practical situations. I encourage students to think critically, solve problems, and explore different perspectives. I also use visual aids, charts, and graphs to make learning more engaging and easier to remember.
I personalise each lesson to fit the student’s needs, whether it’s test preparation, assignments, or understanding tricky concepts. I aim to build confidence and analytical skills so students can succeed in their studies. With my guidance, students gain a clear understanding of Economics and develop skills that help them beyond the classroom.
