About Alexandra
I am a former middle and high school English teacher with years of experience helping students succeed in reading, writing, and beyond. Over the past decade, I’ve also mentored young adults as a Life Strategist, guiding them to build confidence, improve study skills, and develop the independence needed for long-term success. My background in both education and coaching allows me to meet students where they are—whether they need support with essay writing, comprehension, or executive functioning skills. I’m professional, reliable, and deeply invested in my students’ progress. Families who work with me quickly see not just better grades, but a stronger sense of motivation and self-belief.

I specialize in tutoring English, writing, and executive functioning skills for middle school, high school, and college-aged students. My approach is practical and student-centered: I combine content mastery (grammar, essay writing, reading comprehension) with the real-world strategies students need to thrive—time management, study systems, and self-advocacy.
A typical session includes a mix of targeted instruction, skill practice, and strategy coaching.
