Hello! My name is Jeptha Joy, and I am dedicated to making STEM and physics both understandable and genuinely exciting. My lessons are tailored for middle school, high school, and early college students who want to bridge the gap between confusing textbooks and actual mastery.
My Teaching Approach & Method
What sets me apart as a tutor is my focus on conceptual understanding over rote memorization. Physics and STEM can feel intimidating with all the math involved, so I specialize in breaking down complex formulas into real-world, relatable examples. I use interactive digital tools and visual simulations to help you "see" the science in action rather than just reading about it.
A Typical Lesson Plan
Every session is structured to ensure you walk away feeling confident:
The Warm-Up (5 mins): We review previous material or address any immediate homework questions you are stuck on.
Concept Breakdown (20 mins): We tackle the core STEM or physics topic of the day using simplified analogies and visuals.
