About Mary Joyce

I am an elementary teacher and a graduate of City College of Tagaytay with a degree majoring in Social Studies. I currently teach at the elementary level, where I work with learners of different abilities, learning styles, and needs.

Aside from teaching, I also serve as a canteen manager, which has strengthened my skills in organization, responsibility, communication, and time management.

I am currently pursuing my Master’s Degree and preparing for my Comprehensive Examination. I value continuous learning and believe that teachers should also continue improving their knowledge and skills.

As a tutor, I am patient, responsible, approachable, and committed to helping learners improve. I understand that every child learns differently, so I try to make my lessons clear, engaging, and appropriate for the learner’s level.

My goal is not only to help students complete their schoolwork, but also to help them understand their lessons, develop confidence, and become more independent learners.

English

My lessons are designed to be simple, engaging, and learner-centered, especially for elementary students. I focus on helping learners understand concepts rather than simply memorizing answers.

As an experienced elementary teacher and a graduate of City College of Tagaytay major in Social Studies, I provide lessons in Araling Panlipunan/Social Studies, reading comprehension, homework assistance, and examination review.

I adjust my teaching strategies according to the learner’s age, ability, pace, and learning needs. I use clear explanations, examples, guided activities, questions, and practice exercises to make lessons easier to understand.

My goal is to create a comfortable and encouraging learning environment where students can ask questions, participate actively, and gain confidence in their studies.

Whether your child needs additional academic support, help with assignments, or preparation for an upcoming examination, I will do my best to provide patient, organized, and meaningful tutoring sessions.
