About Tosin
I hold a Bachelor's and master's degree in English Language, and I am currently rounding off a PhD in the same field. My academic background has equipped me with a strong foundation in language teaching methodologies. In addition, I have taught English language for over ten years to learners at all levels. What my years of experience in learning and teaching English has taught me is that learning English isn't just about grammar, it's about communication. It is how you employ the language to communicate emotions, signal trust and form identity. So, are you struggling with basic grammar and usage, pronunciation, English test preparations or Business English? I look forward to helping you achieve your English language goals. My approach to teaching lies in recognizing the individual strengths and weaknesses of my learners, and tailoring lesson plans and styles to accommodate every learner. I strongly believe that everyone has potential and we just need to tap into it. I have taught English language in a university for over five years and also at secondary school level for over three years. Most recently, I became a home tutor for a toddler (my son) and after many trials and errors, with the help of experienced early years educators, I can say that I have garnered considerable experience in that area. So, I dare say that I am well versed in teaching English at all levels. In addition, as a Nigerian, I understand the challenges faced by non-native English speakers in learning English. Hence, I bring a unique perspective and expertise in teaching English to non-native speakers.
