About Abie
Thank you for visiting my profile! I have 8 years of teaching experience and have taught in many different settings: from in person, online, schools, and in English Summer Camps. My teaching experience spans from children to adults. My methodology is diverse. It is rooted in: speaking skills, reading/comprehension, listening, and pronunciation. I have an MFA in Theatre: Acting. I have a TEFL-TP (Theatre & Play). I enjoy using voice and speech exercises from my acting background in my lessons. How does this help? It helps with voice, pronunciation, and building confidence while speaking. My hope as your Tutor is that you will be able to confidently express yourself in English by applying what you learn in our lessons.

My teaching technique is unique and caters to each student I tutor. I start with getting to know your speaking level in English, what your goals are, and your specific interests. If I find that you struggle with certain grammar, pronunciation, spelling, etc., I will provide you with a lesson to support you in better understanding the English language. What sets me apart as a tutor is that: 1. I have a degree in Acting, so I love to incorporate acting exercises in my lessons. 2. I speak Intermediate Spanish. My lessons are for children from age seven to adults. Anyone who is not afraid to play and have fun while learning English.
