About Maddie
I am an experienced and dedicated English teacher with a strong academic background and a passion for helping students achieve their language-learning goals. I have experience working with learners at different levels and adapting my lessons to their individual needs, goals, and learning styles.
My lessons are structured, supportive, and engaging. I focus on creating a comfortable environment where students feel confident participating, asking questions, and making mistakes without hesitation. I believe that effective teaching is not simply about explaining English, but about helping students understand, practice, and confidently use what they learn.

My teaching approach is personalized, practical, and student-centered. I believe that effective English learning should go beyond memorizing grammar rules and vocabulary. My goal is to help students understand how English works, use it naturally, and become more confident communicators.
I adapt each lesson to the student's level, goals, learning style, and specific needs. I use clear explanations, guided practice, real-life examples, conversation activities, vocabulary building, grammar exercises, and targeted feedback. For students preparing for exams, I also incorporate exam-style questions, strategies, and timed practice.
A typical lesson begins with a short review of previous material and a warm-up conversation or activity. We then introduce and practice the main topic of the lesson through examples and guided exercises. The second part focuses on applying the new language through speaking, discussion, problem-solving, reading, writing, or exam-style tasks. At the end, I provide feedback, correct important mistakes, review key points, and suggest focused practice for the next lesson.
What sets me apart is my ability to explain complex English concepts in a simple, structured, and easy-to-understand way. I create lessons around each student's individual goals rather than following exactly the same approach with everyone. I also believe that students learn best in a supportive environment where making mistakes is a natural and valuable part of learning.
My lessons are suitable for learners of different ages and levels, from beginners to advanced students. I work with students who want to improve general English, speaking, grammar, vocabulary, academic English, and communication skills, as well as students preparing for English proficiency and academic exams such as YDS, TOEFL and IELTS. I also support university students and learners who need English for academic or professional purposes.
