About Annie

Hi! I’m Annie, an experienced English teacher passionate about helping students become confident and independent English speakers.

I have experience teaching English to children and teenagers in international education settings, working with different levels and learning needs. My professional background includes Cambridge English preparation and experience within the International Baccalaureate (IB) educational environment.

Throughout my teaching career, I have learned that progress happens when students feel supported, challenged, and comfortable enough to make mistakes. I create a positive and respectful learning environment where every student can develop at their own pace while working toward clear and achievable goals.

I am a patient, organized, and committed teacher who takes each student's objectives seriously. Whether you want to improve your English for school, prepare for an exam, strengthen your speaking skills, or simply feel more confident communicating, I will guide you throughout the learning process.

About the lesson

My name is Annie, and my goal as an English tutor is to help students feel confident using English in real-life situations, not just memorize grammar rules.

My teaching approach is dynamic, practical, and personalized. I adapt each lesson to the student's level, goals, interests, and learning style. I combine speaking practice, vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, listening, and reading through interactive activities, real-life examples, games, conversations, and guided exercises.

A typical lesson starts with a short warm-up or conversation, followed by the main language focus. We then practice through engaging activities and finish with speaking or a practical task where the student can use what they have learned.

What sets me apart is my experience working with children and teenagers in international education environments, including Cambridge English and the International Baccalaureate. I understand that every student learns differently, so I focus on creating a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions, and improving step by step.

My lessons are ideal for children, teenagers, and adults who want to improve their general English, conversation skills, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, school performance, or confidence when communicating in English. Lessons can be adapted for beginner, intermediate, and advanced learners.
