About Emily
I am married, with one child who is about to go off to university.
Teaching has been my profession all my life and I love it. It is always exciting to see people, from eleven to forty, changing and growing as they learn. I really care about each and every one of my students.

My approach to teaching involves never allowing my students to be bored, because when you’re bored you don’t learn. I zoom in on their minds, their personalities and give them the tools to achieve success.
I have thirty years experience. I teach GCSE and A level English language and Literature and all exam boards. I specialise in effective exam technique.I have a degree in English Literature, an MA in linguistics and a PGCE in Education from the Institute of Education, London University.
