.A Typical TEFL Lesson Plan
A 60-minute lesson follows this structure:
Warm-up (5-10 mins) – Icebreaker, conversation starter, or quick review of the previous lesson.
Presentation (10-15 mins) – Introduce new vocabulary/grammar through context, dialogues, or multimedia.
Practice (15-20 mins) – Controlled exercises like gap-fill activities, matching exercises, and pronunciation drills.
Production (15-20 mins) – Freer practice such as role-plays, debates, storytelling, or writing activities.
Wrap-up & Feedback (5-10 mins) – Review key points, answer questions, and assign optional homework.
