About Megan
I am a dedicated and patient tutor who values professionalism, clear communication, and creating a positive learning environment for every student. With an academic background from internationally recognized universities, including the University of California, Davis and National Taiwan University, I understand the importance of strong language and communication skills in both academic and professional settings.
I have experience teaching students of different ages, learning styles, and proficiency levels, including children with ADHD and dyslexia. I believe in adapting my teaching methods to suit each student’s individual needs, helping them learn comfortably and confidently at their own pace.
My goal is not only to help students improve their English, but also to build their confidence and motivation to learn. I strive to make every lesson organized, engaging, and supportive, while maintaining a professional and encouraging atmosphere. Students and parents can expect patience, reliability, and genuine commitment to helping each learner achieve their goals.

My teaching approach is patient, interactive, and tailored to each student’s individual learning style and goals. I believe that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons based on their strengths, challenges, and pace of learning. I aim to create a supportive and encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence in their English skills.
For students with ADHD or dyslexia, I use structured and engaging teaching techniques such as visual aids, step-by-step explanations, repetition, and interactive activities to help maintain focus and improve understanding. I also emphasize practical communication skills through conversation practice, reading, writing exercises, and real-life examples.
A typical lesson usually lasts between 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s age, attention span, and learning objectives. Lessons can focus on conversational English, grammar, vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension, homework support, or exam preparation.
I graduated in Animal Biology from the University of California, Davis, and hold a Master’s degree in Veterinary Medicine from National Taiwan University. I am currently pursuing a DVM degree in Europe. In addition to my academic background, I have experience tutoring students of different ages and proficiency levels, including children with learning differences such as ADHD and dyslexia.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults of all English proficiency levels, from beginners to advanced learners. I welcome students who want to improve their academic performance, daily communication skills, pronunciation, writing ability, or overall confidence in English.
