About the lesson

I utilize multimodal teaching methods that incorporate visual aids, interactive digital resources, and structured, step-by-step instructions to cater to various learning preferences and needs. Techniques such as scaffolding, where I build on students' existing knowledge and skills gradually, and differentiated instruction to address individual learning styles are core to my methodology. Additionally, I provide frequent breaks and varied types of activities to maintain engagement and accommodate sensory needs.

Typical Lesson Plan:

Introduction (5 minutes): Brief recap of previous lessons, setting the agenda for the current session, and a mindfulness minute to center focus and reduce anxiety.
Interactive Mini-Lecture (10 minutes): Introduction of new concepts using slides with visual representations and clear, concise language.
Guided Practice (15 minutes): Students engage with the new material through interactive activities such as matching games or sentence structure puzzles on tablets or computers, which help in reinforcing the concepts.
Independent Practice (15 minutes): Students work on assignments that allow them to apply what they've learned, with options to choose their mode of expression (e.g., writing a short essay or creating a visual storyboard).
