About Prav
I am a dedicated and reliable English tutor with a strong focus on helping students build confidence, improve their skills, and achieve their academic goals. I take pride in delivering well-structured, high-quality lessons that are tailored to each student’s individual needs.
I understand that English can feel challenging for many students, which is why I create a calm, supportive, and encouraging learning environment. My approach is patient and methodical, ensuring that students fully understand each topic before moving forward. I aim not only to improve grades, but also to help students develop confidence in their abilities and a more positive attitude towards learning.
I am highly organised, professional, and committed to maintaining clear progress throughout each student’s learning journey. Parents can expect consistent communication, structured lessons, and a strong focus on measurable improvement over time.
With a strong background in communication and organisation, I am able to explain concepts clearly and adapt lessons to suit different learning styles. I am committed to maintaining a high standard of tutoring and ensuring that every student receives the support they need to succeed.

I take a calm, supportive, and structured approach to tutoring, focusing on building both skill and confidence in English. I understand that every child learns differently, so I tailor each lesson to suit the student’s individual needs, pace, and learning style.
My teaching focuses on the key areas of reading comprehension, writing, grammar, and vocabulary. I break down complex topics into simple, easy-to-understand steps, using examples, guided practice, and interactive exercises to keep students engaged. I also place a strong emphasis on encouraging independent thinking, helping students not only improve their grades but also develop long-term learning habits.
Lessons are typically 60 minutes long, allowing enough time to cover new material, practise skills, and review progress without overwhelming the student. I keep sessions structured but flexible, adapting based on how the student is progressing.
I have a strong background in communication, organisation, and working in structured environments, which allows me to deliver clear, effective lessons. I am patient, approachable, and focused on creating a positive space where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.
My lessons are designed for students aged 9 to 14 (KS2 and KS3), whether they need extra support, are preparing for exams, or simply want to strengthen their English skills.
