About Sharon

I am a passionate and dedicated English teacher with a strong background in creating engaging and effective lessons tailored to the needs of young learners. With a TEFL certification and several years of experience teaching both in classrooms and online, I specialise in helping children develop their English skills through interactive activities like storytelling, games, and multimedia resources. I believe that every student has unique strengths and learning styles, so I focus on personalised instruction that builds confidence and fosters a positive learning environment. I love teaching because it allows me to inspire and empower students to communicate confidently in English, opening doors to new opportunities and experiences. Seeing my students grow, overcome challenges, and gain enthusiasm for learning is incredibly rewarding. Teaching is more than a job to me; it’s a fulfilling journey where I continuously learn and grow alongside my students, making a meaningful difference in their educational paths and lives.

About the lesson

My approach to tutoring focuses on creating a supportive, engaging, and personalised learning environment. I use interactive techniques such as storytelling, games, and multimedia tools to make lessons enjoyable and effective. I emphasise building practical communication skills alongside grammar and vocabulary, tailoring each lesson to meet the individual needs and interests of my students. Typically, my lessons last between 30 to 45 minutes, allowing enough time for instruction, practice, and feedback without overwhelming the learner. I hold a TEFL certification and have over five years of experience teaching English both in classrooms and online. I specialise in tutoring children aged 5 to 12 at beginner to intermediate levels, adapting my methods to suit their learning styles and help them build confidence in speaking, reading, and writing English.
