About Enow
Hello and Welcome! My name is Enow Nanje Nyendi, and I’m an experienced English tutor based in the UAE. I hold a Bachelor’s degree and have been teaching English for over 7 years, helping students from different backgrounds build confidence, improve fluency, and enjoy learning the language. I began teaching because I truly believe that language opens doors – to education, to career opportunities, and to connecting with the world. As someone who speaks both English and French, I understand the challenges that come with learning a new language – and I also know the joy and freedom that come when you begin to speak it with confidence. My teaching style is calm, friendly, and personalized. I don’t believe in “one-size-fits-all” lessons. Instead, I take time to understand each student’s goals, learning style, and personality. Whether you're preparing for exams, improving communication for work, or just want to speak more confidently, I’m here to guide you with patience and support. I look forward to meeting you and being part of your English learning journey!

My Personal Approach to Private Tutoring
Lesson Topic: Building Strong Conversational Skills (Intermediate Level)
Duration: 60 minutes

What Makes My Lessons Different?
My teaching method is student-centered, meaning I design every lesson based on your individual goals, strengths, and areas for improvement. Whether you're preparing for an exam, boosting your speaking skills for work, or just want to feel more confident in daily conversations – I create a friendly, supportive environment where you can grow at your own pace.
Lesson Breakdown
5 mins – Warm-Up / Icebreaker
We begin with a short, informal conversation to relax and set the tone. I ask a few light questions like:
“What did you do this week?” or “What would you do if you had one extra day off?”
This encourages natural speaking and gives me insight into your fluency and vocabulary use.
10 mins – Listening & Discussion Activity
We listen to a short real-life dialogue or news clip. Then we discuss what you understood, identify new vocabulary, and explore the meaning of phrases or expressions.
15 mins – Vocabulary & Pronunciation Focus
Based on the discussion, we practice 5–7 new words or expressions. I guide you through proper pronunciation, sentence examples, and real-life application. I always make sure you're using vocabulary that matches your level but challenges you to grow.
20 mins – Structured Speaking Practice
You’ll engage in a role play or guided conversation based on a real scenario — for example:
Making small talk at work
Asking for help in a store
Describing your weekend activities
Debating a topic politely
I provide corrections gently and offer tips to help you sound more natural.
10 mins – Review & Homework Assignment
We wrap up the lesson with a review of what we covered and a short take-home task – either a vocabulary review, a journal prompt, or a short video to watch and summarize.
