About Beheter Jahan
My name is Beheter Jahan, and I am a dedicated English tutor committed to helping students achieve real, lasting improvement in their language skills. I bring a strong academic foundation from the British curriculum, having studied both IGCSE and IAL, and I have also completed IELTS, which allows me to guide students using internationally recognized standards. I approach every lesson with professionalism, patience, and genuine care for my students’ progress. Whether I am teaching young learners, high school students, or university-level learners, I create a structured and supportive environment where students feel confident, motivated, and well-guided. I take the time to understand each learner’s abilities, challenges, and goals, and I adapt my teaching methods to suit their needs. Students can expect clear explanations, practical exercises, and steady guidance that builds both knowledge and confidence. My priority is to ensure that every student feels supported, respected, and encouraged to do their best. I believe that every student learns differently, so my teaching approach focuses on personalized, student-centered learning. I begin by assessing each learner’s current level, strengths, and challenges. From there, I use a mix of guided practice, interactive explanations, real-life examples, and structured exercises to help students understand concepts clearly and apply them confidently. For language skills, I emphasize speaking practice, vocabulary development, grammar mastery, and exam-focused strategies depending on the student’s goals. My lessons typically run for 60 to 90 minutes, depending on the student’s level and learning needs. Each session includes explanation, practice activities, feedback, and short revision tasks to reinforce understanding. I have studied under the British curriculum (IGCSE and IAL) and have also taken IELTS, which allows me to teach using international standards. My background enables me to support students with exam preparation, academic English, and communication skills. My lessons are suitable for all levels — from young children building basic English skills, to high school students preparing for exams, and university learners improving their academic writing or speaking ability. I enjoy working with learners of different ages and abilities, and I always aim to create a supportive, motivating environment where students feel confident to learn and grow.
