About Diane

I am an experienced English teacher with 20 years of teaching English ESL, mainly in Spain, Italy and France. I understand the challenges of learning another language and my approach respects the student's learning style and promotes more self-confidence. I have taught in Primary Schools (Key Stages 1 and 2), High Schools and Universities. I obtained my PGCE in Leeds in 2003.

About the lesson

20 years' experience in teaching at all levels. ESL, English, (History, Geography Key stage 2 and 3). My lessons are interactive and well prepared, I have a lot of teaching material. I am qualified with University degrees and PGCE. One hour long lessons. Also preparation for IELTS, Certificates: B1, B2 and C1 in English. Homework help for Primary and Secondary students: as a parent I understand that often young people need extra help not only academically but also emotionally: to help gain self-confidence in their learning and their ability. I believe in helping students find their potential and gain more motivation in their abilities. My teaching approach, especially to younger students, places a lot of emphasis on pastoral care: overall wellbeing—physical, emotional, social, and mental—to create a safe, nurturing environment where they can thrive academically and personally.

Thanks to her I had the chance to truly master my english, as an Italian speaker, and to exponentially improve my grades in english, in both literature and grammar.
